What to specify on a straw tote brief

A straw tote is quoted from the specification, not from a photo. Seven lines are enough for us to price and sample a style:

  • Size — width × height × gusset, plus the handle drop you want (hand carry or shoulder).
  • Base — flat and reinforced for structure, or soft for folding.
  • Handles — woven straw, textile cord or PU; the drop is measured from the top edge.
  • Lining and closure — cotton or polyester, with or without an inner pocket; zip or magnetic.
  • Colour — natural, or dyed to a colour card; dye-lot minimum confirmed on the brief.
  • Branding — woven label, PU patch or leather trim, and where it sits.
  • Quantity and ship window — first order, and the date it has to land.

Each straw tote in the range starts from one of eight production bases; a new base is developed from your drawing. Sampling is 10–15 days, and the sample fee is credited toward the bulk invoice at MOQ.

Common questions

What tote bag sizes can you make?

Any size from a petite hand tote to a weekend tote. Send the width, height, gusset and handle drop; we quote from the measurements.

What is the MOQ for tote bags?

100 pcs per style. Synthetic and textile cord constructions can run 100–300 pcs depending on the cord.

Can I order a sample before bulk?

Yes. Sampling is 10–15 days; the sample fee is quoted per style and credited toward the bulk invoice at MOQ.
